Thank You, Thank you - Montgomery County voters. You helped make my campaign a real grass roots effort as we brought our message to your neighborhoods.
Thanks for your hospitality to me when I knocked on your doors or saw you at events. I am now relying on you all to help to keep the causes for good government, slower growth and protections for our environment out in the public arena.
This campaign would not have come so far without the assistance of many fine volunteers - and I do not have enough words to applaud your fine efforts. Although we came up short in the final tallies, I have noted that our percentage spread (>36%) was the same as was seen in the county executive race - and we had much less money. We'll have to determine how to remedy that if there is a race in the future. Do keep in touch with the campaign through the web site and email; future steps are still being contemplated, so we'll let you know when we know!
Please let us know what issues you are thinking about and what events are happening out in your neighborhoods. Keep me advised of concerns on other county issues.
