Career Highlights

Previously a nurse and practice administrator; health care educator in workforce development.

Now working in compliance, fraud, healthcare issues in Medicare.

County resident since 1976; Olney resident since 2000.

Sharon Dooley, a former nurse with clinical experience at DC General and in the care of renal diseases, is now a healthcare consultant who works in the areas of compliance, medical audits, and staff education.  She previously taught in Continuing Education and Workforce Development at Montgomery College.  Ms Dooley ran her own small business for over a dozen years in healthcare. The mother of 2 adult children, she has lived in Montgomery County for over 30 years.   She has provided testimony before many county council hearings and planning board meetings on environmental and development concerns.  She resides in Olney on the edge of the ag reserve.
